Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse 
Salary: $90,455 - $124,768  
Shift Details: Full-Time, Night Shift 7PM-7:30AM 
Location: Portland, Oregon  

Job Description: 
Our partner is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. Key responsibilities include: 
  • Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, maintaining a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care delivery 
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document patient progress to ensure continuity of care 
  • Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergency situations, utilizing advanced critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage patient needs 
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate effective treatment plans 
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and safety standards 
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up requirements to promote understanding and successful recovery 
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, hospital policies, and nursing standards to maintain a safe and effective care environment 
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and ongoing education to enhance professional growth and department performance 
  • Utilize strong communication skills to document and relay critical patient information during shift changes and team meetings
